Mental Health Counseling Services

Free and confidential mental health and counseling services are available to currently registered students.

Appointments are available in-person or virtually.

The first step is completing the self-referral form.

Our services are short-term and include but are not limited to:

  • Education about topics that support mental health and personal well-being
  • Teaching skill development and coping strategies
  • Support during a mental health crisis
  • Recommendations and referrals for ongoing services in the community

Saint Paul College is concerned about the safety and well-being of our community. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis and need immediate assistance call 988. This service offers crisis counseling, referral for ongoing services and collaboration with county crisis response teams as needed. If you have an immediate concern related to someone harming themselves or others, please call 911.

The Student Resilience Project is an online resource developed to encourage wellness by helping you explore healthy ways to manage stress and increase your sense of belonging. The website features videos, skill-building activities, resources and information including podcasts by experts.

A Recovery Community Organization (RCO), led and governed by representatives of local communities of recovery.

Provides full-services healthcare for all people, regardless of income or insurance status. Multiple locations. Near campus.

Provides full-service healthcare for all people, regardless of income or insurance status.


Mental Health America Screenings provides individuals with access to free, anonymous, and confidential screenings for mental health conditions. These tools give individuals access to standardized mental health assessments, which can function as a first step in helping someone identify the mental health concerns they may have.
