Students bear primary responsibility for their own academic progress, knowing what level of award they are seeking and what the award is inten​ded for, and being familiar with and following the program requirem​​ents of their chosen program.

Students are responsible for seeking appropriate assistance when experiencing academic difficulty, i.e. discuss with instructors and​ faculty advisors. Students are also encouraged to keep a file of their grades and transcripts to monitor their own academic progress.

Each student is also responsible for being familiar with all student rights, responsibilities, and all campus-wide College Policies. All policies are published yearly in the Student Handbook and available on the College Web site.
