Saint Paul College Students Excel at SkillsUSA Competition 2022

​The SkillsUSA Minnesota State Conference was held this past weekend, and 27 Saint Paul College students competed with excellent results, including four gold winners! The latter will move forward to the National SkillsUSA conference on June 20-24 in Atlanta, Georgia. All students displayed exemplary skills and professionalism throughout the weekend. Students active in the SkillsUSA organization are known for being influential leaders wit​h highly marketable skills.

Saint Paul College had fourteen medalists at this years’ competitions, including four Gold, six Silver, and four Bronze. Congratulations to the following Saint Paul College students who received medals at the Minnesota State SkillsUSA 2022 competition:

SkillsUSA Minnesota is one of the Career & Technical Student Organizations offered in Minnesota’s school system. The Minnesota Association has provided leadership opportunities to over 250,000 student members since 1967, with a current annual membership of over 1,200 students. Business and industry leaders play a vital part in the SkillsUSA program. These leaders assure that career and technical training programs stay current and meet industry technical standards. They volunteer to speak to students about their industry or job-seeking & keeping skills. These business leaders also design the hands-on skill competitions, provide teacher in-service on new products and equipment, and donate supplies and equipment for student use in the school setting.
