The State of Minnesota has designated Saint Paul College as a Yellow Ribbon organization, joining 83 other Yellow Ribbon Organizations in Minnesota. Being identified as a Yellow Ribbon organization shows that key areas with an organizational structure create a network that proactively supports service members, veterans, and military families. This commitment is an important step in adding more military-related students and employees to Saint Paul College and bringing their unique experiences to our inclusive learning environment.
Key initiatives within the approved Action Plan include expanding the hours of operation and support services available at our Veterans Center, adding a range of training opportunities for staff to expand their understanding of military-related student needs, and expanding our partnerships with the military, such as expanding training opportunities for Medical Students.
This is an exciting time for Saint Paul College, as shared by military and college leadership:
“On behalf of General Manke and the 13,000 members of the Minnesota National Guard, Thank You Saint Paul College for going above and beyond to support service members, veterans, and their families.”
