Saint Paul College Culinary Arts earns ACFEF Quality Program status

Saint Paul College’s Culinary Arts program has earned American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Quality Program (ACFEF) status. This prestigious status recognizes culinary and hospitality related programs that meet or exceed industry standards for education and training.

The ACFEF is the largest organization of culinary professionals in the United States. Quality Program status recognizes culinary and hospitality educational programs that meet or exceed industry standards for training.

In order to become an ACFEF Quality Program, programs must be established with registered participants for at least six months, have qualified instructors who demonstrate proficiency through job experience and/or post-secondary education, have clear learning objectives defined for students, follow sanitation rules in classrooms and learning environments, and have adequate facilities to meet the objectives of the program.

Saint Paul College’s Culinary Arts program met or exceeded all ACFEF standards and was noted as an “exemplary program” with one of the most organized and well-planned visits they had ever experienced.

Congratulations to Chef Nathan Sartain, Dean Brendan Ashby, and all Culinary Arts instructors!
