The International Student Program was started by Carol Myint, International Student Advisor, in Fall 2019, and Hilda Vera Yaguaro from Venezuela will become the first international student from this program to graduate from Saint Paul College this upcoming December. Hilda will be receiving a Culinary Arts AAS degree. Culinary leaders recognized her potential for excellence in this field as she received the prestigious Chaine de Rotisseurs Foundation Scholarship in 2019.
Hilda is an inspiration to other students at the College. She was instrumental in starting up and serving as the President of the Global Cultures Club, an officially recognized student club through Student Life. Her education included a summer internship at the highly regarded Rose Street Patisserie, where she was known for her creative, tasty pastry creations!
