2018 Culinary Arts alumna, Kathryn Kueppers, has been crowned Miss Minnesota 2019. Kueppers graduated with distinction in 2018, earning a
Culinary Arts AAS degree, and sang the national anthem at the 2018 commencement ceremony. She has gone on to pursue a degree in Family and Consumer Science (FACS) at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and plans to work and teach in the areas of food education and literacy.
“I am grateful to have studied under such experienced chefs at Saint Paul College,” said Kueppers. “The life skills they taught me have been invaluable.” Kueppers has been on the President’s List at Saint Paul College for academic achievement and also was awarded the 2017 HMS Host Foundation Scholarship for Culinary Arts.
