Professional Development
Reimagining Leadership
The Reimagining Leadership Program examines key leadership competencies through a series of guest speakers, small group discussions, and self-reflective exercises. Offered as a hybrid 8-week cohort program during Fall semesters, interested staff can either self-nominate and apply with supervisor approval, or apply following a supervisor nomination.
The intention of the Reimagining Leadership Program is to expand the perspective and skill set of our community of emerging staff leaders in order to best support our College, contribute to a positive organizational culture, further empowerment and change, and continue to enhance their own lifelong learning and leadership development.

Professional Development Day
Every February, AEI sponsors a collaborative Professional Development Day event for all employees at the College. Typically held on the Tuesday after Presidents’ Day, this full day tradition is an opportunity for our College community to engage with one another and reflect on practices to support professional roles and guide perspectives and work within Saint Paul College. Prior PD Day topics have included Sustaining Self-Care and Wellbeing, Building Capacity for an Antiracist Campus Community, Understanding the Impact of Trauma and Trauma Stewardship, Perspectives from the Diverse Community in which Saint Paul College Resides, and Beyond Ableism: An Intersectional Approach to Disability Justice.
