Travis Mills

Travis Mills teaches Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 as well as the Chemical and Biological Instrumentation course at Saint Paul College. He also manages the Instrumentation Lab and Cleanroom, which includes chemical instrumentation unique to a 2 year college. Travis was hired as a full time faculty member in the summer of 2013. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 2009 with an emphasis in Materials Chemistry, where he conducted research focused on organic electronics and organic photovoltaic devices. Prior to that, he earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Saint Cloud State University. Travis has been teaching Chemistry in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system since 2009 and enjoys interacting with students in the classroom and helping them with career decisions. Outside of school he loves to travel, ski, boat, and spend time with his family.
