Nick Bohrer has been an instructor in the Massage Therapy department since 2004. He received Saint Paul College’s “Outstanding Teacher of the Year” award in 2006 and continues to see students’ progress as his favorite part about teaching. After a serious skiing injury, Nick experienced the benefits of massage therapy as part of his recovery; it was this positive and life changing experience that led him into the therapeutic massage profession. Nick has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. His primary area of study was business and health and he continued his studies at the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork. He has additional training in Russian massage as well as Muscle Release Therapy. Nick also is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. He also has enjoyed working with several professional bicycle racing teams including the United States national team – which had the additional benefit of allowing him to travel all over the United States as well as Canada, Mexico and Europe.
