James is an Instructional Designer in the Academic Effectiveness and Innovation unit, where he assists faculty work on teaching and learning issues such as course design and applying new technology. Prior to joining Saint Paul College, he worked as an EFL and writing instructor for nearly 10 years in Washington, DC with LADO International Institute, in Kazakhstan at KIMEP University, and on various overseas programs with the non-profit American Councils for International Education. In his free time, he is also a DJ on KFAI 90.3 FM Minneapolis.
