James Andresen

James joined Saint Paul College full-time in the fall of 2006 teaching both Political Science and Philosophy. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Political Philosophy at Arizona State University. James holds an MA in Political Science from Minnesota State University and has completed additional graduate work in philosophy. His research interests focus on contemporary political philosophy with special attention to reasonable disagreement and the question of political legitimacy. Other interests include the philosophy of war, moral philosophy, liberalism and conservatism, and the history of modern political thought.
