Jennifer Anglin joined Saint Paul College in 2005. She is a Healthcare Informatics, Health Information Technology (HIT) and Medical Office Careers full-time Instructor and Program Advisor. Prior to joining Saint Paul College, Jennifer spent many years within both clinical (Cardiology Research and Cardiac Rehab Therapist/Exercise Physiologist) and clerical/administrative (Business Services and Health Information Management Divisions) areas of the healthcare industry. Jennifer has instructional experience within the areas of HIT, health science, exercise physiology, and clinical medical assisting. Jennifer has developed/co-developed various associate level degree educational programs. In addition, she has participated within two national program accreditations. Jennifer is an active member of many professional organizations, including the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI). She also volunteers in her local community. Jennifer is credentialed as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) by AHIMA. Jennifer earned a BS degree in Legal Studies and Health from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She is also a certified Paralegal and Medical Coding Specialist. Jennifer earned her MA degree in Exercise Physiology: Cardiology Rehabilitation and Research and a MS degree in Health Information Management from the College of St. Scholastica. She is also post-graduate certified in Health Information Management & Exchange and Healthcare Informatics. Her dedication to research and professional development further prepares students for their future within the healthcare industry. In the classroom, students have the opportunity to learn and use various innovative and revolutionary software applications/technologies. She also provides electronic health record system training within the curriculum. Students can be assured that they will experience hands-on learning and current skill-sets.
