Jolene Sundlie

Jolene Sundlie has been teaching Sociology full-time at Saint Paul College since 2004. Prior to teaching at Saint Paul College, she worked as an adjunct sociology instructor at Fergus Falls Community College, Inver Hills Community College, Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Minneapolis Community & Technical College, and McNally Smith (formerly Music Tech). Originally from the Fargo, North Dakota area, Jolene received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Moorhead State University and completed her Master of Science degree in Sociology at North Dakota State University. Jolene has also completed graduate courses in Criminal Justice from Saint Cloud State University and is a member of the Midwest Sociological Society. One of Jolene’s passions is baseball; her graduate thesis is titled, “Perspectives on the Northern League of Independent Baseball: A Sociological Study”. Jolene’s goal is to visit all thirty Major League ballparks. When not teaching or watching baseball, she enjoys playing softball, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
