After you have registered for a class at Saint Paul College, you will receive an envelope in the mail. Do not throw the envelope away.
You will need it to select a financial aid or student payroll disbursement option.
Your disbursement options
Once you’ve receive the envelope you have three options to select how you wish to receive your financial aid or student payroll disbursement. Your selection is called your "refund preference" – keep in mind that you must choose one.
Carefully read through all of the information for each option and make the selection that is best for you.
Transfer to your existing bank account
You may request to electronically deposit your financial aid disbursement or your student payroll to your existing bank account. Visit BankMobile when you receive the envelope to activate your account and select to have your financial aid or student payroll disbursement transferred.
If you choose this option, your refund will be deposited in your bank account after Saint Paul College sends the funds to BankMobile.
There is no charge for receiving your refund this way. You will have to complete, print and mail an Automated Clearinghouse Transfer (ACH) form.
BankMobile Vibe Account/OneAccount
The Vibe Account is a checking account that you open with BankMobile and linked to your Saint Paul College Card. If you select the Vibe Account/OneAccount, you will be able to use your Saint Paul College Card to make purchases anywhere that MasterCard is accepted and get cash out of any of the 55,000 Allpoint® ATMs. Visit BankMobile when you receive the card to activate your account and select the Vibe Account/OneAccount.
If you choose this option, your disbursement is available the same business day Saint Paul College sends the funds to HigherOne. Financial aid disbursements are usually available the third week of each semester for students that have an active award and are in good academic standing.
There may be fees associate with the BankMobile Vibe Account/OneAccount. Please review the BankMobile Fee Schedules to learn more about potential fees associated with the Vibe Account/OneAccount and its services. Effective 6/16/16, BankMobile no longer charge PIN fees.
With the BankMobile Vibe Account/OneAccount you also have the option of various mobile banking features.
You are not required to select the Vibe Account/OneAccount to receive your financial aid refund. You only have to open the Vibe Account/OneAccount if you wish to have your refund on your Saint Paul College Card.
You may request to have your financial aid refund disbursement issued in a paper check. Visit BankMobile when you’ve receive your personal code to activate your account and select to have your refund disbursement issued as a paper check.
Checks are mailed to your address on file at Saint Paul College after Saint Paul College sends the funds to BankMobile. It is important that you update any changes to your address to avoid delays in receiving your check.
There is no charge for receiving your disbursement or student payroll this way, although it will take longer for the check to arrive at your address.
