Visiting Student​​​

Welcome to Saint Paul College! We are excited to have you as a student at the College.
You are considered a Visiting Student when you want to take classes and do not plan to complete a program to earn a degree, diploma or certificate at Saint Paul College. 

Please follow the below steps to r​egister for a class or classes.

Meet class requirements


              • ​​If you are attempting to register for a course with a required prerequisite and have taken the required prerequisite at another institution and need permission to register, you will need to fill out and submit the Course Permission Request Form 

-or-

              • Submit your unofficial transcripts to be waived from the ACCUPLACER assessment​. If you have already completed reading, English, math or writing courses at another college, your assessments could be waived. If we have already received your official transcript or if you attended a Minnesota State school: send an email to the Transfer Center. Or email an unofficial copy of your transcripts in PDF or JPG format to the Transfer Center for review.

              • Take the ACCUPLACER assessment to get the scores required to take you desired class or classes. This must be done before you can register for classes. The first time is FREE!

Can I receive financial aid?​​​​

Non-degree seeking students are not eligible for financial aid from Saint Paul College. To be eligible for financial aid you must be seeing a degree, diploma or certificate. If you are visiting us from another school, check with your home instituion about financial aid. ​​
