Saint Paul College student senate receives MSCSA Star Campus for second year

The Saint Paul College student senate was recently awarded “Star Campus” status by the Minnesota State College Student Association (MSCSA) for the second year in a row. This award is given out to MSCSA’s most active student senates. Only 9 of the 47 MSCSA member senates from two-year Minnesota State College and University (MnSCU) campuses achieved “Star Campus” status this year.

Criteria for the award include recruitment of new students to attend MSCSA conferences, carrying out our advocacy work on campus, and even winning our Mock Legislative Training Game. The full “Star Campus” criteria can be found at http://mscsa.org/become-a-mscsa-star-campus.

The Saint Paul College student senate accepted the award at the MSCSA Spring General Assembly on Sunday, April 21.

The Minnesota State College Student Association (MSCSA) represents students attending the state’s two-year technical, community, and comprehensive colleges on 47 campuses advocating for more than 100,000 students across the state.
