No. 1 Ranked Community College in the Nation

Saint Paul College is proud to announce that they have retained their position as the #1 Community College in the nation. The ranking of community colleges was published in Washington Monthly Magazine’s 2013 College Rankings on August 26, 2013.

“I am indebted to our faculty and staff for making this honorable achievement happen,” said Saint Paul College President Rassoul Dastmozd. “For over a century, Saint Paul College has emphasized the importance of teaching, supporting, and engaging our students in the learning process. This recognition validates what we have practiced since 1910.”

The magazine places Saint Paul College at number one on its list of the top community colleges in the nation. The ranking is based on data provided by the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) and graduation data from the U.S. Department of Education. CCSSE data is based on surveys of students at approximately 700 community colleges across the United States.

Located in the heart of Saint Paul’s Cathedral Hill, Saint Paul College is the fastest growing two year comprehensive community and technical college in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system. Saint Paul College’s offerings include Career and Technical Education, general liberal arts education areas of study that transfer to four-year colleges and universities, short term workforce training and continuing education, as well as English as a Second language and remedial education. Saint Paul College serves more than 9,800 students annually.
