New Vice President Of Academic Affairs at Saint Paul College

Saint Paul College- A Community and Technical College announced today the appointment of Dr. Diane Vertin to be the next Vice President of Academic Affairs/Chief Academic Officer.

Rassoul Dastmozd, President/CEO of Saint Paul College, said, “Saint Paul College is excited to welcome Dr. Vertin to our campus community.  Diane’s insight and experience in academic affairs will help to fulfill the mission of providing exceptional and comprehensive community and technical college educational opportunities for our constituencies.”   

Dr. Vertin has served as the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Campus Administrator for the Superior Campus of Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC) since 1998. WITC is comprised of four campuses located at Ashland, New Richmond, Rice Lake and Superior with the administrative office located at Shell Lake, Wisconsin, serving  7,500 students.   Diane brings a wealth of experience in higher education administration, AQIP-HLC Accreditation, curriculum and program development, academic planning and budgeting, faculty development, and online education.  She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, as well as an M.Ed. in Vocational Education and Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from the University of Minnesota Duluth. In addition, Dr. Vertin is an Executive Leadership Institute Fellow, completing the League of Innovation Program in 2008 and a graduate of Wisconsin Leadership Development Institute.
